“ Starting off with the food, it was delish. I order the Kahaluu Eggs Benedict with crab cake.. so good! I really enjoyed the CBP Coconut Banana Pancake with Coconut syrup and macadamia nuts. It's a must try when you visit Coconut Grill. Service was ok but it took a while to get our food. The restaurant looks clean and friendly waiters/waitresses. I would definitely try this place again. ”
“ Great variety of items on the menu! All kinds. I ended up with the French Dip. My sissy had the Lobster sandwich. Had difficulty choosing! The best part was the Bloody Marys! Omg. I could have had just THAT for brunch - Not one, but two skewers of bacon wrapped shrimp, of course celery, olives and a lime wedge. They no mess around. It was beautiful! Hahaha... Enjoyed watching our local kids across the street at Ice Pond catching fish and jumping into the water! Gotta go again soon... ”
“ The restaurant has a view of the water which was nice! To me it felt homey, family diner style type of restaurant. Everyone was extremely friendly! The food was delicious, they had some cool stuff on the menu! We tried the ginormous chicken waffle sandwich and the stuffed French toast! Highly recommend! ”
“ Really enjoyed the food at this restaurant. The portions were of adequate side and everything was very tasty. Great location over looking ice pond, with a view of Hilo bay in the distance. It is at a hotel so street parking in front may be a little scarce if you go before the visitors have left for the day. There are three spots in the back of the restaurant. The servers were friendly and attentive to our needs. So skip Ken's and head on over to Coconut Grill ”
“ We were staying at the hotel next door. Very convenient location. I had the fettuccine with grilled shrimp. There were lots of vegetables and shrimp. It was delicious! Portion was a lot. I wasn't able to finish it. My husband had the furikake chicken and all that was left was a scoop of rice. He said it was yummy! Staff were friendly and we didn't wait for our food. Lots of dining space and had Hawaiian decor. Their breakfast was delicious too! ”
